Long-Distance Pipeline Shoring

Contractors needed shoring solutions to run a 65-mile long water main pipe (450-ft. of pipe per day). HT8 model trench boxes with 8-in. thick and 10-ft. high sidewalls were utilized as well as Pin-in-Place spreader arches. These trench boxes were quickly pulled in and out of the trench without any extraordinarily heavy equipment yielding the 450-ft. gains each day. TrenchTech, Inc. steel trench boxes proved to be more than adequate for this pipe installation contract.
