Slide Rail Systems Success Story
Adding a fiberglass fuel tank at a busy hospital with limited access was normally a difficult task. Slide Rail overcame restrictions caused by surrounding obstacles such as a loading bay dock and electrical banks, as well as vibration restrictions (which eliminated the option of vibratory hammer-installed sheeting). A Multiple Bay Slide Rail System with parallel beam-spreaders was used to create the 56-ft. by 16-ft. pit. When the time came to install the fuel tank, ClearSpan waler beams were secured to the outside of the linear posts, and the spreaders were removed. The result was an unobstructed pit in which to lay the tank.
