Multiple TrenchTech products were used to support this project - a 20' x 40' x 18' Slide Rail System along with the new Trenchbox ladder and Aluminum Guard Fence were included for a bore pit that the customer had to install to allow boring out of both sides. TrenchTech engineered both the shoring and the thrust blocks for this project. This sewer line bore under United States Postal Service property in Fairfax VA had 36" casings to upgrade the decades-old sewer line. TrenchTech worked with the contractor, County Reps, and a 3rd-party engineering firm throughout the submittal process to provide a site specific plan to minimize the footprint and stay in the LOD allotted during the design phase. The project had a tight timeline due to this being a highly utilized facility for the holiday season.
